Who can use it

You must be 13 or older. Palate is free.

Your posts stay yours

You own the recipes, photos, ratings and tips you post. By posting something others can see, you let Palate show it in the app and on share pages, at the privacy level you picked. Delete it and we stop showing it.

Post only what's yours to share

• Your own recipes and photos, or ones you have permission to share. If you got a recipe from somewhere, say where and write the steps in your own words.
• No hate, harassment, threats, nudity, spam, or anything illegal.
• No ads or paid promotion posing as a personal review.
• Be honest about restaurants and dishes. Real experiences only.

We can remove posts and block anyone who breaks these rules. Use ⚑ Report on anything that looks wrong. Use Block to stop seeing someone.

Food safety and allergies

Recipes come from home cooks, and dish picks come from AI. Neither is medical, nutrition or allergy advice. Check ingredients yourself, cook food to safe temperatures, and tell restaurants about allergies.

AI can be wrong

Palate uses AI to read receipts and menus, fill in recipes and suggest places. It can misread or make mistakes. Restaurant suggestions may be out of date, so check before you go.

The service

Palate is provided as is, while we keep building it. Features can change, and there are daily limits on photo reading. Keep your Palate code safe; we can't recover a lost one. To the extent the law allows, Palate isn't liable for losses from using the app.

Leaving

You can delete your account anytime: My taste → Safety and account → Delete my account. If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top.
